We at Marusumi Paper Company have carried forth our business activities in order to contribute to the advancement of our economy, society, and culture. In doing so, we have consistently cherished and maintained a certain set of values and a fundamental stance.
The basic thinking is outlined in our Company Policy, Management Philosophy, Charter of Corporate Behavior, and Business Conduct Guidelines. These are our conduct guidelines, and we share them with members of our company as we carry out our business activities.

Charter of Corporate Behavior
1. We provide products and services from customers’ perspective
We put ourselves in our customers’ shoes as we provide safe, high-quality products and offer prompt and principled services.
2. Fair and transparent corporate activities that observe domestic and overseas laws and social rules
We observe and comply with Japanese and overseas laws and ordinances and the spirit of such laws as we ensure fair and equitable business relationships and conduct our corporate activities with transparency.
We will stand firmly against antisocial forces and maintain sound and appropriate relationships with governments and administrative bodies.
3. Transmission and appropriate handling of information
We will endeavor to gain the trust of the public by actively disseminating our corporate stance and other information about our company.
We will handle personal data and confidential information appropriately and will not use them for purposes other than those originally intended.
4. Environmental conservation efforts
We will continue to work to maintain and standardize our environmental management system and promote measures against global warming and efforts toward an energy-saving, recycling-based society.
We will continue to place our emphasis on environmentally-friendly manufacturing (monozukuri), further explore new manufacturing technologies, and offer products and services that leave minimal environmental footprints.

We will contribute to the vitalization of our local economy. We will also place importance on communicating with our local residents and will actively participate in activities to support our local culture and promote revitalization.
6. Good relations with our employees
We will respect everyone’s human rights and work to maintain a safe working environment. We will coordinate our efforts based on a foundation of mutual trust between management and employees to create an open and free corporate environment and put forth our dedicated effort to create a “company that belongs to all of us” that everyone can feel proud to be a part of.
